Hello and welcome to my little space on the world wide web – Squeeze of Citrus. My name is Ashley. I am a California native who followed my husband to Denmark to pursue his dream job in a tiny little country town. This adventure has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, trying to figure out a new culture while physically and emotionally aching for my own familiar place “back home.” The kitchen, my kitchen, has always been my favorite place to be. It’s a place that brings me confidence, allows me to be creative and (usually) results in a very tasty outcome. This blog will be a place for me to share our family’s story – primarily through food but also through our experiences within our unique international community and travel in Europe.
